Well after nine years of work the Karmann is finally finished.
Ian Cherry, at "Coach & Car Trimmers" did a fantastic job and the car is now back with me and ready show next year when the weather improves.
Ian did hand made fitted carpet with deep under felt.
He made epaulettes on the seats to hold the seat belts
He re-covered the seats and embroidered the head rests.
Even the over-carpets have been embroidered
He retrimmed the door cards and made new elasticated door pockets.
Carpeted the boot
And that is it! the project is finally finished, although I will be adding additional blogs as I carry out further modifications.
I hope you have enjoyed the story?
